Went through some books this week and sorted out which ones are keepers and added some to the purge pile. We also finally pronounced the air conditioner dead and got a new one. The old one lasted almost 10 years, so no complaints really. It's nice and frosty in the computer room now so I can go through more of this crap I need to get rid of in ( Read more... )

So this month has been a lot of getting ready for stuff that will happen later. We leave for the road trip to NYC to visit zoethebrave in 2 weeks from today, so we've been planning stuff to do aside from the Madonna show and shopping. So I recently signed up for zip.ca and have about 500 DVDs on my want list ; ). So far it's pretty cool - fast turnaround on shipping new discs. They have a system that picks what movies to send you and is supposed to send sets in order etc. but it seems to still have a few glitches, since 2 of my initial 4 discs were both disc 1 of series - but ( Read more... )
